Swiss Wallet

The swiss wallet is a thin and stylish minimalistic credit card holder with a money clip.

The wallet is made of anodized aluminium and can hold up to five credit cards in the slot, it can also be used for business cards. One of the sides features a sliding button that is used to pop the cards from the wallet, the activation is smooth and the mechanism works well.

The othe side of the swiss wallet, the one that is not in the picture has a stainless steel clip, the clip can be used as a money clip for bills or to clip the wallet to a belt, pocket or other places. It makes sense for us to use the clip for bills so you can have both cash and your credit cards in the same place.

The swisswallet is stylish and very thin, it only weights 2oz. The aluminium finish is strong and does not get scratched easily. The wallet is available in red, salmon, yellow, green, blue, silver and black colors; the money clip is not painted.

For the ones that like to use a money clip the swiss wallet is a great idea so you can also have some cards with minimum weight and volume.

All-Ett Wallet

The All-Ett is a very special wallet designed to be very light and very small, according to the company a normal wallet can be up to 16 times bigger than the All-Ett Wallet with the same content inside.

The "original" model has 4 pockets for cards, two pockets for bills and one extra deep pocket for things such as receipts, airline tickets and others. Among other versions we can highlight the european version with just 2 pockets for cards and the travelers version with space for your passport, ticket, and money.

The All-Ett is made of a very thin nylon material called "spinnaker cloth", it is thin as paper but very strong, and that explains why after loading the wallet with 10 credit cards the wallet is as big as the 10 cards are without almost any extra volume due to the wallet itself. The material is also washeable and water resistant and it doesn't get bad in the humid summer days.

The slim approach of the All-Ett wallet multiply the options to carry, you can use it in your front pocket or back pocket and is hard to notice it is there.

For those looking for a wallet with basic features but as thin as paper and very light the All-Ett is certainly a terrific product.

Maxpedition's Micro Wallet

The Micro Wallet is a minimalistic wallet for people that don't like or can't carry big bulky wallets with millions of items.

The Micro is 4.5'' x 3''. When opened it offers an ID window and two card slots. There is a single division running along for bills.

When closed the Micro has a small pocket in one side, there is no closure mechanism, no velcro or anything similar, just fold it and put it in your pocket.

The construction is very strong in cordura nylon with double stitching along the borders. It will not get destroyed by metallic objects such as keys in your pocket.

Maxpedition claims you can fit one ID, two credit cards, some bills, two quarter coins and a spare key in the Micro, this is as far as we could test true, being small if you load it with too many items it will be hard to fold and inpractical.

As an interesting point the strong cordura nylon used for this wallet makes it a little heavier and bulkier than what you would expect for a Micro wallet, we believe a lighter and thiner material would have been a better choice.

Civilian Lab Andorra Rewind Wallet

The Andorra rewind wallet is a urban/sports trifold wallet featuring a retractable steel cable with a clip.

The trademarked rewind system consists of a slash resistant steel cable that unspools from its embedded spring-reel. It can then be clipped to a bag, belt loop or other attachment point for safety.

The wallet is made from perforated water-shedding leather and is available in white, brown, blue or pink. It has 3 card slots that can hold up to 9 cards, a change compartment and a non stick mesh ID window pocket (internal). Outside it has a quick check cash window that allows to verify cash availability without opening the wallet. The main closure is velcro and does make some noise. The total weight is 3.25oz (95gr).

The rewind cable and clip system is very practical you can clip the wallet to your belt loop and it will be discrete yet very secure this can be a good insurance for people that like to carry the wallet in the back pocket and uses public transportation or visit crowded places often, with the steel cable clipped somewhere, getting the wallet stolen or lost is a lot harder. There is no outside pocket, zipper or window and the closure is velcro so you have to open the wallet every time you need to get some change or something from it considering that safety is a design feature of this wallet an external pocket would have been a good adition.

The Jimi Wallet

The Jimi Wallet is a small and stylish plastic wallet that can be used as a normal wallet, id holder, card holder, badge holder or to store small kits.

When opened the wallet has a card holder on one side that is good for about 4 or 5 credit cards and a money clip useful for some folded bills (not many), there is no additional space for othe items, this is a wallet designed to hold just the essentials.

The translucent cases are fine to flash badges or passes without the need of opening a wallet or looking for them, they have a lanyard hole in case you want to carry the wallet as a badge holder in neck lanyard.

The internal money clip or the credit card holder clip can be removed if you want extra space for bills or if the clip is not useful for you, optionally you can purchase an SD card holder and use the wallet to carry SD cards too.The Jimi is also water resistant in case you were worried.

There is an "x" model identical to the one reviewed here but wiht an extra clip in the outside, the clip can be used to clip the wallet to your pocket or as a money clip to carry some change. The available colors are clear, smoke, magenta, ruby, aqua, orange, green, pink and the only non-translucent color: black. They cost $15 and can be ordered from the jimi website.

Spec Ops T.H.E. Wallet Jr

This Wallet from Spec Ops has no particular fancy features but offers a lot of functionality in a high quality product.

The wallet is a tri-folder with a shark-bite closure system (no velcro!) I've found this closure both soundless and secure. The main compartment offers a zipper that can be used as a hidden pocket.

Then you have an internal id window, a small zippered compartment for change or some small items, four credit card slots and two unzippered small compartments for loose small items, etc.

Outside you have another id window/pocket useful for Ids if you carry the wallet from a lanyard. There are 2 eyelets that can be used for a lanyard if you want to carry it from your neck or for a wallet chain if you want to secure your wallet to a belt loop.

The wallet is made from Cordura Nylon, double stitched and has several reinforcement points after several months of use there are no visible marks or problems in mine even when its next to some sharp objects, keys and coins in my pocket.
